Remember to include negative ease. Measure head, then subtract 1-2 inches for final size to ensure snugness. The stretchier the yarn, the more you subtract from the initial measurement. Cotton is less stretchy, acrylic more stretchy. Hope it helps.

So, over the last 2 weeks, I've made a Grinch pillowcase, a stuffed Hen, and now a handbag. The hen (Chickaletta) goes in the handbag, because that's how it works in Paw Patrol. My niece is going to love them all! #Crochet 🧶

Pillowcase made using a graphgan of The Grinch.
Main colour: Leaf green.
Contrast colour 1: Purple for mouth, fur tufts, eye outlines & pupils, and eyebrows.
Contrast colour 2: fluro yellow for eyes.

Crochet hen. White body & wings. Black 9mm safety eyes. Yellow beak & feet. Red comb & wattle.

Crochet 🧶 small red handbag. Oval base, 1 over-shoulder strap, small pocket on side/front of bag with crochet yellow buckle.
