Medical Aid in Dying is an important, tender issue. This bill has been a major priority for me, and will continue to be until we get it done. Curious about what MAID is, and why it matters? Join us in a few weeks for a conversation:

This past year has been a hard one for gun violence in our communities—horrific shootings at Brown University and here in Pawtucket, one right after another. We don’t have to live this way, and I’ll keep working until we *don’t* live this way, in constant fear of gun violence.

Mostly I let bullying go: people being nasty is a reflection of them, not me. Sadly, this blatant antisemitism is emboldened lately. But so we’re clear: I am not scared of well funded, highly conservative secret PACS, nor the contrarians they hire as cyberbullies, nor the candidates they support.

A veto shows a lack of understanding of the seriousness of our climate commitments. It shows a lack of understanding of the seriousness of energy costs — this is an efficiency program. And it shows a lack of concern for future generations — climate is problem that today’s adults need to be solving.
