I picked Liberty Mutual in 2023 after GEICO dropped my homeowners coverage *because* I thought their commercials were less annoying. I ended up switching again a year later bc Liberty increased my premium by 40%. Stop spending our premiums on marketing! We hate it! We deserve affordable coverage.

Watching the "Halloween is" episode of Pete & Pete 1. I remember being perplexed by the concept of being "too old" for trick-or-treats... With my dad annually wearing a rubber wolf mask, putting his glasses through the eye holes, and carrying his own candy bucket.

My new favorite catchphrase is, "It's okay to be sleepy." It originated on a morning where MB* was leaving for work while I slept in. I awoke to him soothing the cat to stay in bed too instead of attempting to follow MB*.

Parents' TVs used to have weird settings configured like the wrong aspect ratio or motion smoothing. I noticed my mom's cable box had the descriptive visual narrator for blind people turned on.
