A message for my fans in Latin America. (plain text is in the image alt-text if you need it for translation.)

Recently, Fangamer asked me to make a post in Japanese regarding the translation of OFF.
Well...in the responses to that post, I noticed some frustration from Latin American fans. Let
me address a few of those issues now.

1. There is an officially licensed UNDERTALE concert series that unfortunately has no shows
planned in Latin America. I did retweet its schedule on request, but I have hardly any
involvement with the concert series and no input on where they perform. But, the organizers have heard the enthusiasm from Latin America, and I personally think it would be great to
have performances there. I hope it works out!

2. Fangamer’s shipping costs to Latin America are prohibitively expensive. As just one of
Fangamer’s clients, I am aware of this problem and I’ve asked them about possible solutions
before. I think it would be amazing if they could find affordable shipping to Latin America (and
other affected regions), but they have expressed that it’s a huge logistical hurdle. The other
shipping methods they’ve tried had a lost package rate of over 50%…

Still, I think Fangamer is interested in finding solutions, so I hope that we can figure out some way to get affordable merch to Latin American fans. Fangamer is very easy to work with and
truly passionate about the things they make. I really trust them and would prefer to collaborate
exclusively with them on merch.

3. Unfortunately, there are no translations for UNDERTALE into other languages besides
Japanese. That includes Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, but also every other language –
Chinese, Korean, Russian, French, German, Italian, and more.

I know it sucks that there are no other official translations for UNDERTALE. But I want to
make it clear that this isn’t because I have a grudge against other countries. It’s because, if I
release something official, I want it to match my vision. I was only able to do this for the
Japanese version because I know Japanese myself, and I worked very closely with our
brilliant translator to thoroughly check the text. I am not against official translations for other languages if we could make it work the same way… In the past I have looked into various options with my publisher, 8-4, but nothing has come of that yet. Maybe I should try a different approach.

I’m very happy that there are unofficial translations on PC. Considering I don’t understand
other languages, letting fans interpret the game without the burden of being “officially” perfect is amazingly helpful.

As for DELTARUNE, it’s just not feasible from a development standpoint to support other
languages right now, since it would make the game take longer to come out...
---
I’m honored to have many fans across the world, and of course that means Latin America too.
I don’t want anyone to feel left out. I’m sorry if my silence made me seem like I was ignoring
anyone.

YEAR STARTERS (1/2) To get some mutuals/cool people on a good start, here're some doodles of characters they made or like (not all of them are on Bluesky but I'll show them the post anyway) @vietheepicgal.bsky.social @blakeizayoi.bsky.social @krystalphantasm.bsky.social @strawhatpyro.bsky.social

A bunch of doodles:
- Polly by Vie is raising a confetti cracker, which she took from Kasane Teto's hair drills. The other hair drill carries a second confetti cracker. They both look cheerful, as well as Retra by Vie in the background, while confetti fall all around.
- Sakuya Izayoi from Touhou Project is busy with taking care of Remilia and Flandre Scarlet, as per usual. She's bringing them one Happy Meal each, and seems a bit tired of her mistresses' childish attitudes. Nevertheless, she winks in one's general direction, which causes Blake Izayoi (an eponym self-insert) to blush in surprise.
- Rei'sen from Touhou Project shares what seems to be a cup of sake with Tari from SMG4 and/or Meta Runner. While Tari appears to be slightly tense, the two of them laugh together. Additionally, Rei'sen wears a carrot-shaped clip in her hair.

Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy, floating in the air and holding her wand.
In the back, we see a top view of the Library. She sits on a rocking chair, next to sleepy Lumas and equally sleepy Mario. Eyes closed, she seems at peace.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A Preview - Our thoughts after playing the demos at Gamescom

Pokémon Legends: Z-A is only a month and a half away at time of writing - and at two years and 11 months, the time gap between it and Scarlet and Violet is the longest ever between releases of main series Pokémon games. Unsurprisingly, anticipation for the second game in the Legends sub-series...

A shaded and colored digital artwork of Peach literally on Cloud Nine while thinking about Mario. She thinks of him smiling in a dorky way, him waving at her, and him laughing. All as if they're the most beautiful things in the world to her. Peach is blushing madly, with a thought bubble containing the words, "What is this feeling??"

Dumb edit of a meme that was an edit of a meme that was likely an edit too. Was in some (also) dumb thread on Twitter some time ago already, thought it'd be worth posting here.

Literal=
Man: "I love AA"
Sollux Captor from Homestuck: me two
Man: *referring to Duracell AA batteries*
Sollux Captor: *referring to Aradia Megido from Homestuck*

Description: As described in the tweet, an edit of an edit of a meme that is likely an edit. In the original, a man says he loves "AC", and a woman answers "Me too." The man is referring to an Air Conditioner, while the woman is talking about several video games referred to with the acronym AC (Animal Crossing, Astral Chain, Assassin's Creed and Armored Core.)
This was later edited over to make it so the conversation is about the acronym "AA," with the man's liking for the Air Conditioner being replaced by Duracell AA batteries, while the woman was referencing PieMations' Balloon Boy being obsessed with batteries joke in his 5 AM at Freddy's: The Prequel animation.
Lastly, I made this edit where instead the woman is GONE, and REPLACED by Sollux Captor from the webcomic Homestuck (his Pesterquest sprites specifically), who answers "me two" instead, due to his typing quirk of replacing "too" and "to" with "two." To be noted is that his text color is also the one he uses in the comic, that being a shade of yellow. Sollux on the bottom part looks sort of nervously to the viewer while revealing that he is talking about Aradia Megido, his implied romantic interest/ex-romantic partner/current romantic partner during the comic, who he refers to as AA both as an abbreviation of her name and of her username apocalypseArisen.

- Eres mi perrita explotable number one. - Gracias, Donkey.

Text: Me petting my favorite nephew, Diddy. for the last time before selling it so I can buy: a Nintendo Switch.

Description: Meme traced over a pic of a real cat being petted while looking slightly distraught, originally captioned "Me petting my cat for the last time before selling it so I can buy:", with an image of a Nintendo Switch 2 next to the caption. This meme substitutes the cat for Diddy Kong and the person petting it for Donkey Kong, with the caption's "cat" being changed for Smash Bros. 64's mention of Diddy being DK's "favorite nephew" and the Nintendo Switch 2 being switched (lol) with a Switch 1, as to reference the "Donkey Kong sold Diddy Kong for a Switch" meme that came out of a comparison between Donkey Kong Country Returns and its HD re-release on Switch.

Cranky Kong's Advice: Git Gud.

It is not comparable! The difference in Your input from digital drawing, to manual drawing, to sculpting, 3D art, editing images, etc... Is about 0 to none. It's like just choosing between a pen and a pencil. AI stuff is leaving both on the table and asking someone else to do the work for you,

In Luigi's Mansion, the size of Luigi's heart in the bottom left corner is dynamically calculated as a function of his health. Setting his health to a negative number will cause his heart to turn upside down and keep growing to any arbitrarily large size.
