I'm barely surviving WITH a day job and don't even have the energy to engage with my hobby. At least with the option on the right I'd be able to set my own hours and rest. TBH I don't think I've ever burnt out on hobbies but I'm perpetually burnt out on a day job.

7am - 5:40pm shift today. I am so fucking tired but it legit could've been worse. I haven't been able to get out before 6:30pm on a Sunday in weeks if not months. It's been worse lately since my 9am became a 7am but I am just SO relieved I didn't have another 12 hr day today.

i get why AI is so depressing to me. because covid already shrunk my world to almost nothing, where almost all of my life revolves around socializing and watching videos on the internet (which is being ruined by AI) and creating creative works through coding (which is being ruined by AI), often using open source tools and libraries (which are being ruined by AI)

i already had so little and now even that is being rotted away before my eyes

Had a check-up today. Mentioned to my doctor that I've been so tired lately that breathing feels like a chore and she ordered bloodwork and suggested I set boundaries at work to not be so tired and also to talk to my psychiatrist about adjusting my meds to get me through the current work stress.

Had a callout at work today. In the four months this person has worked here, being scheduled only TWO DAYS out of each week, they have missed a guesstimated 10% of their shifts. Like genuinely it seems like the callout or don't show up every other weekend. It's infuriating.
