We're talking a lot about sw architecture decisions at work, and a lot of that has involved checking if open source tools have a restrictive license like GPLv2. But because I get ads for them all the goddamn time, I keep writing it as GLPv2 🤦‍♀️🫠

I am home and my feetsies are finally dry 🥳. We hung out at the independent to see if maybe the prodigy would get to play after the thunderstorm delay and no such luck, so we took the bus home. Thankfully we had rain gear and the bus was good again (and free lol)

Hopefully this works out today and tomorrow but taking the bus instead of the train turned out to be way easier. It was less crowded, easier entrance to the fest to use, and about the same amount of walking to get from the bus stop to the park.

Was looking at random job postings just to see what's out there and apparently the local art museum needs a fashion curator to oversee spending the multiple millions of dollars they got. So that's cool that they're working on that cuz I really enjoyed the fashion exhibit they did last year.

Apparently the high museum is free the second sunday of the month which is cool. Also there's an awesome I Spy Exhibit. I didn't realize they're all like photographs of models or like toy contraptions he made. Also he has other neat art.

Going to the dermatologist for the annual checking of the moles is funny cuz it feels like her and her assistant checking me for bugs like monkeys do, especially when she has to go through my hair to check the ones on my scalp. 😅 All my moles were good tho, there's just a few more of them this time.

Annihilation was awesome the second time around. I also get now why the film tweaked a bunch of stuff now cuz like....yeah I forgot how much of it is the main character's internal monologue...and also that a lot of what is described is basically impossible to adapt to screen
