Musk could fund Libertarians in key midterm races in places like New Hampshire, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Florida, the Dakotas, etc. That could make Trump less powerful. (I know there is a movement to have Musk fund Democrats, but they should refuse his money.)

It is about the legitimacy of immigration. If we allow their fear of hyphenated Americans to rule, then we have already lost. No point in going to the rally at all. Stay home and watch TV.

Trump pulls history out of his ass anyway. He’ll make up another reason. We’ve always had a lot of Mexican flags. We are LA. Has anyone noticed that our name is literally a Spanish word? If we try to behave so MAGA is not triggered, we will live very limited lives.

One drawback for Russia of a nuclear strike on Western Europe is that weather goes West to East. I was in Moscow just after Chernobyl. High School students were making in-home Geiger counters.

This story can't be repeated enough. The GOP is lined up behind the guy who is so incompetent that his quasi-gov't agency did this. They're confirming his highly questionable nominees & hurting the American people. And "accidentally"? It was stupidity, not accident. www.nbcnews.com/politics/dog...

Yes. While there are absolutely things Democrats can and must do to slow, obstruct, etc, GOP hold both House and Senate majorities, severely limiting our options. Johnson and Thune are handing over the own keys and relinquishing their own power. Even for the cynics this should be a shock.

We should be doing more to pit their egos against them. They are not friends. With enough pushing against weak egos, we might be able to get a few billionaires to hostilely take over Tesla. Remember the Jiujitsu grudge match phase? There is no way these other oligarchs are happy under Musk’s thumb.

I spent most of my 22-years in the Army as an aviator in and out of line units flying OH-58's and UH-60's.We lost more aircrews in peacetime training accidents than combat. It's a very dangerous business. Having the President smear them as their families are freshly mourning is unforgivable.

It is CRAZY-well researched and demonstrates that progressive taxation and other measures shorten the income gap without stopping progress. And, the experiments on Universal Basic Income in many cities have disproven that people won’t work if they have a basic income.

The resistance has basis. Building 4 - 1,500 square foot homes, rather than 1 - 6,000 sqft home just houses more families. And, of course, a multi-unit is that much more efficient in getting large numbers of people into housing. It is not rocket science.
