I recently revisited The British Way by @gmtgames.bsky.social as it is my go-to game when I want to introduce new people to the COIN system. I chose the Palestine scenario, as it has all the essential mechanics without some of the more complicated concepts like control, support or geography.

Another play of @volko.bsky.social s "Coast Watchers" by @gmtgames.bsky.social. First time we were going for a 5 turn scenario. Tight game, the Japanese won with 3 points! Managed to do some rescues and flood the islands with CWs, but my opponent was clearing a path good for his OPs. Great game!

Play 3 & 4 of @gmtgames.bsky.social Coast Watchers by @volko.bsky.social. First time I also played with the Allied. From this first experience I find them a bit harder to play, but just as much fun as the Japanese. Looking forward to dive deeper into the game and see all it's nuances. 👌🏼

Seljuk by @gmtgames.bsky.social got played again and of course in our second play the rules flowed much more. In our first play the rules were a bit much to remember, but once you get a few plays in, this game runs smoothe like an oiled machine.
