Bugatti Destrier looks like a swan song of Bugatti's VW-era. Unfortunately it's just a one-off, but like its Bolide sibling it shows the potential and range of the original W16 architecture. Tourbillion despite its V16 engine looks a bit derivative compared to the W16 range

Two Bell 214ST collided mid-air when the tube of one of them crashed into the main rotor of the other, probably due to proximity error by the pilot of the higher flying helicopter. They were operating during the wildfires near Athens and currently all 214STs are suspended.

Ανάλογα τις συνθήκες όπου θα γίνει η εκτίναξη, το ρίσκο τραυματισμού ή και θανάτου είναι πολύ μεγάλο, πχ για το ACES II των ελληνικών F-16 το ρίσκο μεγάλου τραυματισμού δεν πέφτει ποτέ κάτω απο το 9% σε οποιεσδήποτε συνθήκες. Στη πράξη συνήθως είναι πολύ μεγαλύτερο.

Luce’s problem is not its distance from “regular” Ferraris, but that it isn’t bold enough. Jony Ive and Marc Newson should have gone completely wild with it and still be a Ferrari. It should have made Modulo look conventional (it won’t sell anyway, there’s no risk)

VW under Piëch made a huge investment in Bugatti. Even with limited direct profits, the indirect halo effect was enormous, a W16 Bugatti was unmistakably and proudly a VW product. Unfortunately, Dieselgate and VW’s poor EV strategy crippled what Bugatti under VW could have been.

Tourbillon's engine is developed and produced fully by Cosworth (once owned by Audi!), the hybrid system is made by Rimac and components by Divergent. The W16 cars also used external suppliers (ex Ricardo made the DSG gearbox) but the engine and overall engineering was by VW

One useful takeaway from these photos is the size of RQ-180, the RQ-170 was considered much bigger than it actually was, same here, it looks like it has a wingspan similar to Proteus (based on the sensor size) ~30m and length around half, at ~8-9m, much smaller than predicted

Here it is, not the prettiest face, but overall a good design with carefully resolved surfaces with nice executed details. It takes extra courage to allow for simplicity, notice the front of the original TT or Avus, they're as simple as possible. This one tries a little too much

This is the first Audi under the new design director Massimo Frascella. The teaser video is on point (the almost unknown TT open sky concept is an interesting choice). This looks like the exact opposite aesthetic from the current Audi lineup

First official image of the Audi moment 2.0 concept. This will signify the new design language for Audi. Looks a bit like a TT- jaguar hybrid but the surfaces are resolved and clean ("strive for clarity" is the slogan). Not as iconic as the TT or Avus but a huge improvement
