USA has lost its ability to make casting molds. It's a huge problem, and most of the work gets outsourced to China. Combine that with penny-pinching capitalism and the fact that detailed molds wear out faster, and you have yourself a recipe for mediocrity.

US could never compete with anything. At least in terms of vehicles. Harley did the same thing with Japanese motorcycles when they started "invading" american market. So government gave them a nice walled garden in form of tariffs for anything above 650ccm.

It's junk food because meat gets processed and mixed with all kinds of chemicals and is grown using steroids. Buns are made with tons of sugar. Get decent meat, home made bread and then you have a healthy meal. There's a reason why EU doesn't buy food from USA, especially beef.
