I've been silently working on a "game" which is to say an open source interface for digital dart boards, like GranBoard. It's far from complete but I can't help but wonder... are there other Bluetooth or serial boards out there I should support in upcoming release?

Using AI is like polishing solidified shit. Quite literally too. You give it the most complex prompt you can think of and it generates some crap based on what others have written but slightly butchered up. Never the correct thing you actually wanted, always needs additional prompts.

You know why Linux is not ready for general desktop adoption? One word, or initialism rather: CUPS. You've had decades of work and still can't produce a meaningful service that would ACTUALLY work. From duplicating printers, to ones mysteriously disappearing to all kinds of shenanigans in between.

People wonder how IRC has stood the test of time for so long even though it did fall out of popularity lately. Simply put protocol is beautifully elegant and simple. Super easy to implement too.

Did you guys know you can create single executable standalone #Python application that runs on #Linux and probably Mac OS? Complete with assets embedded. Make a ZIP module with __main__.py, cat hash bang to an empty file, append zip file to it then set a+x.
