After hearing this, my grandfather would’ve taken a bullet for this man. Just a crazy skill of making great speechwriting (written by and with others, I’m sure) sound conversational.

It’s fire season! We completed fires for our patch-burn grazing (PBG) treatments at the Central Grasslands Research Extension Center. Our research shows that PBG can blend conservation and livestock production for a win-win solution in working landscapes. #conservation #wildlife #prescribedfire

On the left, my image. On the right, the Al image that was clearly trained on, and designed to plagiarize, my image. All Al generated imagery is inherently theft. It's unethical, environmentally disastrous, and does irreparable harm to both artists and society.

Despite the terrible weather, my first bird of the new year was a White-throated Sparrow (followed quickly by a male Northern Cardinal). #birds #newyear #birding

Two more Christmas Bird Counts in the books. We had 61 for the Fargo count and are still tallying for the Bluestem count. Highlights are: White-crowned Sparrow, Clay-colored Sparrow, Song Sparrow, and Spotted Towhee. #christmasbirdcount #birds #citizenscience

Hey everyone! I recently migrated (bird pun intended) to bluer skies and figured I’d introduce myself! I’m a PhD student at NDSU examining grassland bird responses to prescribed fire and unique grazing practices that balance production and conservation. I look forward to sharing my field work!
