This was tried for a long time by eg. the IPFS people and that totally failed. Browser vendors are involved in vetting Cert Authorities and pushed for LetsEncrypt which favors centralization through DNS. 000

I have iroh-based pairing and communication across all devices setup already if that's useful. Does that look doable? 110
