That would be a good link back to the past; Zebedee Tring was a road worker & friend of Jethro Larkin’s father. The name ‘Zebedee’ always makes me think of character from the 89-90 series Tugs. A big, Scouse accented tugboat. #TheArchers

Hello @doctorwhoprophunt.bsky.social (& @zoesfeatherboa.bsky.social) I think I’ve got a reused bit of costume for you to look into: I only noticed when looking at some action figure pics that both some Sycorax & some Sibylline seem to sport similar u-shaped bones on them. What do you think?

It seems that bits of the Servo-Robot from ‘The Wheel in Space’ were used in several other latter-day Troughton stories. (I had to use Internet Archive due to my own…mess). One of the SR’s pincers is later put on a Quark while either the same pieces or same material as the…. 2/?
It's a shame, therefore, that we learn so little about it. Later developments make it clear that it's operating the rocket on behalf of the Cybermen, rather like the mysterious
'silhouettes' in the first two episodes of 1982's Earthshock (whom the Doctor will also destroy).
It might be that it was already aboard before the Cybermen hijacked the ship - meaning they simply reprogrammed it. However, parts of the robot seem to have been incorporated into both the Quarks (the pincer attachment seen embedded into at least one Quark arm) and the Krotons (short piping arms) - so what if it were the other way round?
What if the Servo was a Frankenstein's monster, created by the Cybermen from bits of
creatures they'd defeated? What if they'd made more of them...?The Servo-Robot from, note how similar its limbs look to the Krotons’ arms.

It seems the Green houses are somewhat-terraced compacts. There are about 3 bedrooms in each. (No1 below is now Will’s and the topic of this discussion while the photo is of No6, the Horrobin’s). #TheArchers
One of twelve compact houses on The
Green No. 1 was council property until 1991, when Susan Carter persuaded husband Neil that they should buy it. It was in a poor state of repair, but they thoroughly decorated and modernized it, at the expense of some acid comments from Lynda Snell, who thinks their neo-Georgian front door was an error of judgement. With the Carter children, Chris and Emma, growing up, conditions have become increasingly cramped, but on their current income there is little prospect of the Carters being able to move elsewhere. No 6 The Green

Good luck in the future then. Although this talk of barrels and drums have reminded me; some Weyland-Yutani drums are used in ‘Paradise Towers’ in the Kangs’ lair. And the Cyberscope in Earthshock is built out of Nostromo parts…and some digital readouts as well.
Alien barrels in Dr Who.The Cyberscope prop was built using parts the model maker had scavenged from the Nostromo set constructed for Alien. Similarly, the digital readouts on the device flash up a random series of numbers which were also seen on the monitors of the Nostromo set.
