Macs has this Personal Voice feature where you can record a voice and use it for spoken content. The funny thing about is every time I try using my own voice, it comes back sounded like I've been white voiced.

Lowkey, some of these colors would be fire on a Lincoln. The Cashmere Taupe is damn near the color of the car I drove to prom.

I didn’t mean to talk about Hoopla for this long.

Monta @md-reeves.com · 14/09/2026

I borrowed this from Hoopla because I’m a big fan. They lowkey should let me run their account @hoopladigital.bsky.social. But in all seriousness, what I like and use most is their Bingepasses. I’ve been watching “How to View and Appreciate Great Movies” from The Great Courses library. All free!

You know what two movies I think about after reading this post from Anthropic’s CEO? I Am Mother and Transcendence. Hell, even the TV show The 100. But this shit is getting real, and he of all people would know. darioamodei.com/post/we-must-pace-t…

Moms say this picture popped up on her phone. I forget what summer this was (probably middle school era), but I know I was for sure fresh that day with the black Deion’s.

Ever since Blackplanet switched their focus, I get these emails and news reports they put together. I don't mind it. But this morning, they sent out a survey asking ten random questions.

1. Name a city that should be the capital of Black America.

2. Best Black Romance Movie.

3. Name a dance rooted in Black Culture.

4. Name one of the funniest Black people.

5. Name a movie you'd lose your Black card for not seeing.

6. Something you might say when you start a story.

7. Something you might say when you want someone to stop talking.

8. Things you might say to avoid answering "what time will you be here?"

9. Something you might say when you meet someone for the first time.

10. Name a "white song" Black people secretly love.

Made a couple beats but this might be my favorite one from today

I don’t realize how grim this episode was because they plant all these seeds and end it with killing the brother (probably the other guy too). They don’t show it, but this lady cop foreshadows it, and her demeanor, for that split second after the shot, seems to show they fucked up… again.

It was a good day at the rec. Got with one of the team members earlier and got some practice in, so it was a W today. And my father is funny b/c he shot one shot and said that was enough.

About 7 years I made this beat, and I used Glitch throughout different parts. Some are more noticeable, like the Brenda sample when she’s talkiing and it stutters (and I think there’s some delay), which was one of my favorite effects. 🎧

Rest in peace Kieran Foster. If you ever heard of or used Glitch, then that’s the program he created. illformed.com/memorial

Severity: Unknown
The severity of this alert is not known.

Weather Event Onset
9:32 AM (EDT), July 16

Description
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) continues the Air Quality Alert for today and extended the Alert through Friday July 17, 2026, for elevated levels of fine particulate due to wildfire smoke. Pollutants are expected to range from Very Unhealthy to Hazardous.

This is a Statewide Air Quality Alert.

Plumes of smoke from Canadian wildfires continue to drift across the region today. Elevated fine particulates due to the smoke will continue through Friday.

It is recommended that, when possible, you avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in nose, throat, and eyes. You can help reduce air pollution by limiting activities, such as outdoor burning and use of residential wood burning devices.

Tips for households: Keep windows closed overnight to prevent smoke from getting indoors and, if possible, run central air conditioning with MERV-13 or higher rated filters.
