I’m a try that with some strawberries. I already keep chia seeds on deck. You have to be careful with them and not use too much cause they do absorb water, and that can be a double-edged sword.

I saw this video on instagram where it was creating blueberry jam, but it had this voice over that sounded like an AI version of Dr. Umar. But the funny part is the steps seemed legit. It said heat up and smash the berries, add some water, and chia seeds. That last part is what made it convincing.

I had thought of an idea yesterday while in the bathroom. What I first need to do is start this month off on a good foot, though. Exercise, eat, make some coaching notes, and get prep for this upcoming class. A new phone is needed as well cause mine is annoying. I hate turning it on.

A good day it was today. Now it's time to burn some oil and do it over again tomorrow.

Angie Nixon reminds me of my Auntie. She wears locs, from Georgia but her people from Florida, and they both look like close cousins.

I'm only sharing because I know... but she was on a Lupe song a long time ago, so I wouldn't be surprised. It was the remix to Sunshine.

I’d watch a series on the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Real talk because there isn’t one. The story was dark but I got into it. And they went through so many changes with different leads, you just go with it. The last movie? Dope! I might be in the minority on that opinion, though.

Pace Is Crucial — ADVICE TO WRITERS

Pace is crucial. Fine writing isn't enough. Writing students can be great at producing a single page of well-crafted prose; what they sometimes lack is the ability to take the reader on a journey, with all the changes of terrain, speed and mood that a long journey involves… SARAH WATERS

Good Writing Is Lean and Confident — ADVICE TO WRITERS

Don’t say you were a bit confused and sort of tired and a little depressed and somewhat annoyed. Be tired. Be confused. Be depressed. Be annoyed. Don’t hedge your prose with little timidities. Good writing is lean and confident. WILLIAM ZINSSER

Macs has this Personal Voice feature where you can record a voice and use it for spoken content. The funny thing about is every time I try using my own voice, it comes back sounded like I've been white voiced.

I’m a try to pull off having two teams. Some of the kids won’t be on my team this year, but if they let me get another one, I’ll be able to keep majority of them as Pistons. They’ll just be in different age brackets (8-10, 11-13).

The youth basketball league is around the corner. Feels like yesterday when I broke my hand from being too excited cause our team made it to the championship. We didn’t win it, but they got their revenge against the number one seed.

When I do the waffles, coconut flour is what I used. I chose buckwheat this time around. It tastes more like a pancake than a cornbread patty, though. No syrup needed either.

Lowkey, some of these colors would be fire on a Lincoln. The Cashmere Taupe is damn near the color of the car I drove to prom.

Ain't nothing like a breakfast sandwich. I think that's what I might fix real quick. I got my mayo, eggs, cheese, but no links.

I hope the family gets everything sorted out. I'll be damned to go through the process of burying a loved one, but get some kind of mix-up with somebody else's body.

The NYT's 100 list made me realize I don't watch many shows. 99% of them I haven't seen. I've only seen Chappelle's Show, House, Queen's Gambit, Atlanta, and that's it. I might've watched a few episodes of some other shows but they don't count.

My cousin was in town for a wedding this weekend and came by with shawarmas.
