I've been waiting SO long to share this with you; I really want to thank EVERYONE who was apart of this project big and small. As this has been coming to a close, it feels more and more like my love letter to the community who has been nothing but kind since the moment I arrived. Thank you so much 💚

Made another batch of cookies, and they're the best I've ever done Went for a 44% dark chocolate instead of 70%, and cooked them for a couple more minutes compared to last time. Crunchy edges and exterior, with a chewy interior. 10/10. As far as I'm concerned, they're perfect.

FurAffinity (a furry focused online art gallery) is looking for funding after refusing to comply with advertiser demands. And oh boy are some of those advertiser demands pretty ridiculous. (alt text added)

A post from a FurAffinity developer blog which says:

What makes this situation frustrating is that the bar for what advertisers consider "adult content" is very very low. For example they consider plus size characters, two characters hugging, and "barbie doll nudity" to be adult content, despite these being normal everyday things that are not adult at all. This is why you may see other sites with restrictions on how characters cant be posed or dressed "too provocatively."

We receive a daily list of items that they have flagged as violations and have to sort through them. If they're legitimate violations, we re-rate them. If they aren't, we don't touch them. Submissions that are not violations of our policies are still held against us.

We have had many email conversations, Zoom calls, and even an in-person meeting with representatives to help resolve this to no avail.

A bit annoyed about that energy slump I've been finding myself in for the past week or so. It's making it hard for me to feel like I'm able to stream at my "full potential" whatever that means, so I'm in a weird inbetween of wanting to stream but also feeling like I should wait to feel a bit better

With the price at which they sell their headsets, Meta already has control of the standalone headset ecosystem. It feels like there's a massive hole in the market for a headset with inside out tracking that offloads any sort of computing to the PC.

McSpooks @mcspooks.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I really, really wish the Steam Frame would've just been a streaming only piece of VR hardware instead of trying to be a computer you wear on your face. Would've made it less expensive, and it feels like the vast majority of people who play VR have a computer with it anyways.
