Doing this artist-poet thing on Sunday, and I'm a little nervous about it, but I raised my hand cuz it sounded fun and wholesome and possibly weird too

my kids are f'in brilliant, both of them. my oldest has been thru fire these past few years, but he got thru and now is set to fly free, away from this stupid state. here is a paper plate assignment he did for english, on how his future is gonna be so much less cursed than hamlet's.

if Jim hadn't prodded me i may never have launched this book officially. still haven't launched I Call on the Earth--the pandemic interrupted things. very happy to be reading alongside Jim's new Thoreau chapbook, tho, and our friend James's forthcoming book on Thoreau and abolition.
