Rob McInroy’s October Update

Welcome to the October edition of my writing update.

RobMcInroy @mcinrob.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Thrilled to have been longlisted for the Saltires Research Book of the Year award for An Odious Campaign, published by Tippermuir Books. As a former librarian, an award for research is doubly meaningful. #BookCommunity #Scotland #Saltires #RossandCromarty #Churchill

Heavily into a bigger rewrite of Book 5 than I expected and Ronnie Laing's words keep coming back to me, not least because his surname gave me the name of my central character, Ellen Laing. She's certainly an other like no other. #amwriting #writingcommunity #RDLaing
