I’m just through security at FRA terminal two. If I had known that because they are moving everything out to revamp the terminal, I am on the first flight out and the only flight for the next hour+ then I would have slept in a bit more.

Update: He ended up making a list moment trip to the US for personal reasons and since he was going to a city with a passport office, he got an fast track renewal appointment with 72 hour turnaround. There were a ton of available appointments. New passport is in hand and he returns to Germany soon!

There was a stalled work van partially blocking the roundabout in my village today. It was fully blocking traffic in all directions after a truck couldn’t pass it. Though I was several cars back, I saw the van driver and the truck driver get out and start pushing the van, but it got stuck on a curb

The challenge is enormous, and it's also a moral one: to unite without vengeance, but without impunity. Targeted justice for those most responsible, truth for the victims, guarantees that the rest will dismantle the system, and a plan for people to live again—not just survive. Because freedom doesn't come with a new president: it comes when the state ceases to be a threat.
