The point of this is to break scientific medicine entirely by destroying board certification and malpractice liability, two of the main mechanisms for the medical profession to establish the standard of care. It's impossible to overstate how destructive this change would be to medicine as a field.

To spell it out further, studying disparities is important for everyone. We still don't understand the causes of Alzheimer's. A massive disparity like this is important avenue of study for a general understanding of the disease because it holds clues for understanding what causes it.

the reason for that is pretty simple: insurance companies aren't going to redirect payouts to wellness crap. That money is not available to the interests stoking the maha movement. The focus is *always* on sending consumer dollars to industries outside the health care sector.
