The best part of the parade, is that where we were standing, we didn't see any hate, the thing we heard the most was "goes on for a bit". The second best part of the parade was the brass band, belting out a tune and the acoustics from the bridge made it better.

Was in Glasgow on Saturday, me and my partner were walking along and ended up seeing the Glasgow Pride Parade. What an unbelievable moment, we stayed to watch the whole thing. Let the dolls piss in peace - best sign we saw, want that on a t-shirt. People make Glasgow. Love is love. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Rangers will come 3rd this season. Celtic win the old firm. 1 point in it with Hearts. Celtic need to win at Motherwell mid week for the title to go down to the last day of the season. Incredible scenes.

Which is actually reflected from the first photo below, a lot of turquoise from 2025 compared to this year, not as much. Since 2025, any Reforn UK controlled council when a by-election happens they generally lose. More councils, means more people will see how they actually run councils - see Kent!

Labour retained over 1,000 councillors and came retained the most councils, and apart from losing 10 or so to Reform UK and losing 1 to the Conservatives, most were lost to No Overall Control. Again, still not great but Labour retained or gained double the amount of councils than Reform UK did.

So the final results are in from the local elections and lets look at what it actually means, commentating on Friday morning will not have been true or reflective. So how bad was it for Labour? Well, it was not a great result, but not as bad as everyone had predicted, and was not catastrophic.

Anyone that comments on the result of the local elections before at least 2/3 of councils called is frankly idiotic. All election, this was going to be bad for Labour, a wipeout etc. The results are not great, (and maybe get worse with another 1/3 to go) but this is not bad at the moment...

Celtic are definitely putting me through it this season. We are joint top of the league. Hearts v Rangers tomorrow, a draw would certainly keep us in this race. A Rangers win would make it a horrible old firm game next week. 3 games to go, Rangers, Motherwell, Hearts. We can do this.

Had a lovely long weekend home in Scotland, the briefest of trips this time (just went with a backpack). Saw family, saw friends, exchanged gifts, ate a load of fried or battered food (very much the stereotype) and spent most of the time with my sisters wee dog. Cracking weekend all round.

What a weekend, the top 6 teams faced each other in rhe Scottish Premiership. Celtic closed the gap to two points behind Hearts and Rangers lack of winning ways always brings me joy. Celtc play hearts next weekend. Cannot wait for that game, a win means Celtic go top with a game in hand.

Labour lifted 450,000 kids out of poverty yesterday but according to Beth Rigby thats bad for Labour and as for the BBC, nah not even going to mention it. Totally normally country, where the national broadcaster and biggest news channel clearly distain this Labour Government, not even hiding it.
