After I was hospitalized for my mental health issues my mom signed me up to be an extra in a promo. My nerves got me there 2 hours early. I got to meet and say hi to a few wrestlers that day. PAC was one of the kindest people. I can’t believe he’s gone. Let your loved ones know you love them.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted but I had to have another surgery and then my mental health collapsed again. The medication changes are just beating me down. The cats take shifts. This is from Zeus’ shift. Even had a Junipurr appearance until she realized where she was. Thank god for the cats.

Junipurr. She spent 2 years being very roughly treated in a shelter before I heard about her. She was being overlooked so much I knew I was taking her regardless. She is blind in one eye but that doesn’t stop her. Her love for Zeus is that of a Disney movie. She’s still a scaredy cat but she’s slowly warming up!

Zeus. Big, dopey, and a sentient plushie. He’s the most cuddly cat I’ve ever seen. If you’re not cuddling hard enough he’ll do it for you. He is supposed to be litter mates with Lexi but he’s about 20 lbs and she’s 5. I doubt it otherwise, his poor mom! He’s the peacemaker with the girls and Junipurr’s entire world. He’s also the alarm clock for food the minute he can see any of the bottom of the bowl.

Nemesis. My best friend. I had gotten her off Craigslist, for my dad. He always said he never wanted cats but he fell in love with her and she with him. She was even standing guard over him the night he passed. She has the personality to match her name. She will tell me, quite loudly, her opinions. She’s also the first to notice any mood changes and try’s to calm things down. Just don’t come at me too fast or she will hurl herself at you like a bowling ball with razors attached.

Lexi. Zeus’ litter mate. This little girl is 5 lbs of straight up attitude. She will fight a bear and the bear will loose. She literally growls like a dog when someone pulls in the driveway. Also a huge fan of snuggles and new people. She’s always the first to see what’s going on. She’s had digestive problems most of her life but I think her new vet has her figured out. Now if I can just get her to understand her name isn’t on the mortgage and other cats live here too. Oh well. Keeps everyday interesting!

I’ve noticed there are absolutely no birds out. The smoke is thicker here today. I really don’t know how the people further north can breathe. Even with a mask on you can taste it. Also it now has a slight burning plastic smell to it. Why isn’t the world in Canada right now when they do it for us?
