Several of these bills then extrapolate that antisemitism as defined in this way should be evidence of discriminatory intent.
Screenshot of OK HB 2243 "All state departments and agencies shall consider
antisemitism as evidence of discriminatory intent for any law or
policy in this state which prohibits discrimination based on race,
color, religion, or national origin or provides for enhanced
criminal penalties for criminal offenses when the defendant
intentionally selected any victim or group of victims or any
property as the object of the offense because of such victim's or
group of victims' actual or perceived race, color, religion, or
national origin."

One concerning thing I am noticing as I am reading through #OKleg bills this session, is several policies from folks in both parties defining antisemitism in statute using a definition that has examples of critique of Israel.

When I had the responsibility of sharing the news of Nex's death through my work at @freedomoklahoma.bsky.social, we knew Nex broadly used they/them pronouns, and used he/him pronouns with folks Nex was closest to. In initial sharing, we chose not to use pronouns and asked others to do the same.
Screenshot from a Freedom Oklahoma post with text "We have heard varying reports of how Nex communicated gender, and have avoided using pronouns for Nex here, as we don’t have 100% clarity on Nex’s correct pronouns, and will not engage in the harm of guessing or misgendering Nex or using incorrect pronouns. Using someone’s correct pronouns has a measurable impact on that person’s wellbeing, and we ask that others respect Nex in death until, if at all, we’re able to learn Nex’s correct pronouns. For more information about pronoun usage, here is GLSEN’s guide to pronouns."

Also, the update to counseling procedures would no longer allow school counselors to refer students to clinics or community resources.

And several changes that make the open records process more ambiguous and more cost prohibitive, with increased posturing towards limiting access to records requested, especially concerning the frequently questionable hiring and employment decisions made to further politics ahead of public ed.

For instance, they seem to continue being comfortable committing to the harm. There's also a proposed rule change that would revoke the department's commitment to civil rights.
