I have changed my audiobook of The Silmarillion away from the Andy Serkis and to the Martin Shaw version. it's better. Serkis is too hammy for the material.

Translators deserve better. Anyone who wants to replace them with AI 1.) Doesn't understand the work. 2.) Willfully, visibly disrespects their audience. Poor end product, alienated consumer base, screwed workers. That's the grand future so-called "AI" serves us, again and again.
