Been using this method to make some quick shading, wanted to share! It’s a bit quick because I am trying to graduate college in a few days or so/lh #Arttips #Arthelp

Step 1: Draw your subject flat. (A drawing of a cube with black lines, without color)
Step 2: Bucket fill a layer over everything with a dark color. (The canvas is all dark purple now)
Step 3: Set the layer to multiply, and lower the opacity to 80%. (The cube’s black line is visible again, this time with a purple hue)
Step 4: Set your eraser to 20-50%, and erase the areas that are lit, until it looks sufficiently good. (Rays of light have been erased out of the dark purple, as well as the top of the cube and a quarter of two sides, it looks matte.)
