Been using this method to make some quick shading, wanted to share! It’s a bit quick because I am trying to graduate college in a few days or so/lh #Arttips #Arthelp

Step 1: Draw your subject flat. (A drawing of a cube with black lines, without color)
Step 2: Bucket fill a layer over everything with a dark color. (The canvas is all dark purple now)
Step 3: Set the layer to multiply, and lower the opacity to 80%. (The cube’s black line is visible again, this time with a purple hue)
Step 4: Set your eraser to 20-50%, and erase the areas that are lit, until it looks sufficiently good. (Rays of light have been erased out of the dark purple, as well as the top of the cube and a quarter of two sides, it looks matte.)

Been having a less than stellar few days, here’s a character AU doodle nonetheless! Her name is (Kat)ydid and she’s strangely carnivorous for RainWing due to some NightWing in her Also due to the latter, she does seem to stare too long at the night sky at times #WoF #WingsOfFire #WofOCs

Got a message from the chaotic lizard for today!! #doodle #dragon #positivity

A drawing of a dragon with a hood is on the page, it’s got a mischievous smile with text under its wings.
The text reads: “Blow it out the park, SHOOT FOR THE MOON!”

Did a closed species design the other day! His name is Current, I only have a vague idea of his lore rn.. Mainly that he lives by a beach and can’t actually swim, but yet still feels a connection to the place somehow #art #ocsky
