The designs of these characters are far from final (or even polished), but I honestly thought of this to settle on their energy, and it works. I needed a duo with a little more friction between them. They are also named now, purple is Beatrix and orange is Cynthia. They're coworkers.

Again, even in the littlest bits of me getting to just describe this part of the world, the scenery, the city, the people, I really love Nohria as a setting, and I enjoyed going through some of it so much. I am planning a rewrite for the setting guide, so that may precede any long term campaign

Fortunes Weave letting you recruit 3 characters who would be chapter 1 bandit bosses in any other game, and they are some of the funniest units gameplay wise in the whole game. I’m using an elite squad of them all in at least one route

The young poet/novelist Llewelyn Viera, and his recently met bodyguard Cordhalia Weiss. Llewelyn’s story involves his work leading him to acquire a strange tome of ancient, unknowable origins, resulting in all sorts of dangers which Cordhalia takes it upon herself to safeguard against.

It’s been a talking point in the leadup to release but I’m really staggered by the diversity of the playable cast in fortunes weave, especially by JRPG standards. The character designs are just all bangers, can’t wait to blatantly lift inspiration for D&D characters or other OCs
