Mayor May Knott is next, and this thing is charming. A puzzle game about girl rebuilding a town and overcoming her fears &shyness. It's very pretty, punny, and so full of heart I almost couldn't drag myself away from the demo. There's also a fortune teller called Madame Pastrami. She's a sandwich.

...and a few other small recipe tweaks, mostly to make things require less ingredients. This new version will be v1.3.0, and I'll be dropping it in the "test" channel of the game on Steam for a few days so cool people (like you!!) can test it before I push it to default. Then onward to consoles!

The PanTree will now prioritize giving a resident what it has the most of, rather than picking the first food alphabetically. This gives you a better chance to get the beefle you need for a lot of recipes! There's also a light string from it to one of the restaurant streetlights.

A big player-facing change is that popcorn will no longer require a plate; it has its own traditional popcorn box / sleeve made from the corn husk! This will make it easier to get corn cobs to make pipes, and will be a better option than feeding Grandfather Clock a billion unicorns.

A BIG new build is on its way. The biggest change is behind the scenes -- switching from Unity 2021.3 (that's nothin'! This project started on Unity 5.4!!) to Unity 6.5. This will make it a lot easier to port to consoles, and will hopefully improve performance. Also various bugfixes.

When Mayor May Knott launched and it was getting the steam launch boost, there were lots of positive reviews and I gorged myself on them. Now reviews have slowed down, so I get a couple a week, and when I see the number of reviews go up I save reading the new review for when I need a little treat.
