I think the addition of The Sift is one of the best announcements that could’ve come out of Minecraft Live.

It also came with this neat little zine! I always appreciate the extra details and care that go into releases.

My copy of Perfect Organism from @lostincult.co.uk has arrived! I just finished Make Us Whole, and I’m excited to start this one next. Looking forward to diving deeper into the world and legacy of Alien: Isolation.

Just beat @hazelightgames.bsky.social new game, Split Fiction and wow. Easily a 10/10 and potentially the best coop game I’ve played in a decade (at least the 2020’s)

Watched the new @playstation.com state of play and was most hyped for Tides of Annihilation and Hell is Us! The Lies of P dlc was a nice surprise too.

Telepath RPG 2 (2007) was another memorable Flash game for me, as I loved the simple design of the shadowlings and the experience of fighting alongside them, albeit as a slave. It had a unique atmosphere that really stuck with me.

Arcuz (2009) was one of my favorite Flash games growing up. I spent hours leveling up and battling monsters on Armor Games and Newgrounds.

And for those who may not remember, Turok originally began as a comic book series.

Remember when critics hailed Turok: Dinosaur Hunter (1997) as the pinnacle of video game graphics? It was one of my very first N64 games growing up.

Bear with me as I learn the best way to share these for maximum readability! But here are two close-ups of the articles that I should have included

The portrayal of romance and relationships has always been central to many stories, but I chuckled a bit at this top title. Either way, it's a great article about Persona back from 2011.

I really enjoy looking back at some of the video game coverage in old newspapers and I'll probably share some time to time based on what I'm playing, which is the new Dragon Age right now! So, here's a fun article about the release of the second one in 2011.

When BioWare first released Dragon Age: Origins in 2009, it received great reviews and a significant amount of attention for its spicy romance options.
