Mount Sinai decided to stop booking appts for new patients on certain Medicaid plans and other govt insurance as of Aug. 1. 🚨 After I asked them about it, they changed their website to delete references to the policy. I asked if that meant it was rescinded; they didn't respond.

New York expected 450,000 people to become ineligible for the Essential Plan after narrowing the criteria to qualify, in response to federal cuts in #HR1. But 140,000 were able to stay enrolled because their income dropped by thousands of dollars, new data shows.
