Asparaginases have been used to treat cancers for decades, yet the enzyme used most commonly today comes from E. coli. Efficient, but not without drawbacks. Is there a better one out there? To help answer that, we built a classification and database: asparaginasedb.com, published in OUP's Database.
Front page of The Asparaginase Database showing the logo, search bar, BLAST tool, and description reading: The Asparaginase Database is a resource for asparaginase sequences, structures, and biochemical annotations organized by a phylogenetically driven classification. Beneath, three ribbon structures, one per class.

RFD-VIM If you work with RFdiffusion(1) and ProteinMPNN workflows, you might find my PyMOL extension useful for selecting residues in 3D to freeze in designs. I prefer adjusting settings interactively on the structure instead of typing contigs. It can also generate structures for RMSD calculations.
