The only possible AFL comparison I can think of is 2010 drawn GF for St Kilda, but even in that, they were more desperately unlucky than anything Also interesting: Brisbane winning the flag with the worst defence for a premier ever (per some advanced metrics) as AFL tweaks rules to favour attack

- Drinks/snacks cheaper at pharmacies than convenience stores (where you’ll inevitably end up at night before hotel for bed) - in Tokyo, Shinjuku Govt Building is a great observation deck that’s free (better than going to the more famous ones) - I love Eggs n Things for breakfast, mileage may vary

Totally get people enjoying the theme and the campiness. But it’s just so flawed conceptually. The missions are irrelevant, surely there need to be incentives for the traitors to sabotage? And the best gameplay strategy as a faithful is to be a bad faithful so you don’t get called out & voted off?

Finally watched a season of The Traitors. UK Celeb edition so not exactly a gameplay masterclass. But that show is just baffling to me; it really is people playing a basic version of Mafia badly? As an old-school Survivor fan & board game fan it should be perfect for me, but it just doesn’t work.

Great piece & rankings. I would absolutely recommend going back for Palau (fascinating descent into darkness and type of end game you never get any more) and Guatemala (awesome location, some great characters), I’d have them top 20. Fun fact btw, both punters in the title game have dads who are very well known in Australian football circles OSU punter’s dad is a very well known TV host/ex-team president. Notre Dame punter’s dad was a great AFL player turned recruiter. Fun little side story!
