Finally got my wife to Act 2 in her first BG3 run. On my own, I'm gonna wrap up GoW: Ragnarok. With the whole family, we've been enjoying Just Dance (my daughter enjoys the Disney songs) Marvel Rivals with the boys, but I've been pushing to do more Helldivers.

GTA 6 on Switch 2 means that it will probably be available as a streamed title, but I could be wrong.

I suppose I never put two and two together, but plate armor, handheld crossbows, and steel weapons weren't very common until the last few centuries of the Middle Ages anyway. DnD is basically frozen in time (technology wise) right before the first guns and cannons hit the frontlines.

Unfortunately, Gamestop has been killing it for years, too. Most Gamestops I've been to sell used games for about $2 less than the new option.

I think they're eventually banking on Geforce Now being the industry standard for players accessing games and GPUs just being for prosumers and serious(ly rich) enthusiasts

I'm honestly starting to think the 50 series is less for gamers and more for businesses that use powerful GPUs in their workcenter desktops, because businesses don't care about "price to performance", they're just gonna buy as much hardware they can budget for. I see it happen where I work

So, only high-end GPUs are promising? A $500-600 GPU that vastly outperforms anything in its price range from the previous generation isn't promising?

I can't tell if you're insinuating that only high end GPUs like the 4080/5080 or 4090/5090 or 7900 XTX are worthwhile, or that only NVidia makes worthwhile GPUs because the 9070 and 9070 XT both outperform anything NVidia makes in the same price range

I'd love to see it, but I have a feeling they're mostly trying to get data centers to buy their 5090's and then push more Geforce Now subscriptions so they can become the Netflix of game streaming. Aside from people who need powerful GPUs in their career. The new AMD GPUs seem promising tho

Just realized that putting stuff in cases in stores like Walmart is pointless for loss prevention. Once you ask an employee to get it for you, you're just as able to steal it as you were without the case. They don't follow you after you get it out of there.

Hi, I'm a parent. The number is much higher than that. If I had to guess, I'd say somewhere between 40-70% regret having children, and in many instances, they are fantastic parents who love their kids. There is nothing that can prepare you for that level of sacrifice.
