My question: "To both of you, the survivor of Nikolaj Sorensen's alleged sexual assault has said to me today that when you defend him, it creates a dangerous environment for others to come forward. What is the message you're sending to sexual assault survivors and abuse survivors in your sport when you defend Nikolaj Sorensen?"

The comments of the reigning Olympic champion and a team in contention for the upcoming Olympic title carry weight, and using their voices to publicly undermine a survivor's truth further enforces the culture of silence in figure skating.

Fuck the IOC, the Milan organizing committee, the International Ice Hockey Federation, and the NHL. Rink isn’t finished, but they are promising it will be ready by Feb 11. NHL says they won’t let their players play if ice isn’t to their standards. The women’s tournament begins on the 5th.

International Ice Hockey Federation president Luc Tardif said during a news conference earlier in the week that although parts of the rink and arena might not be complete in time, the playing surface, practice facilities and dressing rooms would be ready when the men's hockey tournament begins on Feb. 11. The women's tournament begins on Feb. 5.
