Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Love it so much! The poetry! The reunion! The Supreme Bitch LWJ! The author even wrote an AU of this AU, which is different but still amazing. 110 1
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Wonderful things come to those that wait, as LWJ would attest! @mimispearmint.bsky.social has updated Re:Inquiry after a long hiatus, and a little corner of my soul is healed and fed. archiveofourown.org/works/412277...archiveofourown.orgRe: Inquiry - MimiSpearmint - 魔道祖师 - 墨香铜臭 | Módào Zǔshī - Mòxiāng Tóngxiù, 陈情令 | The Untamed (TV) [Archive of Our Own]An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works 000 0
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Real life: horrors as far as the eye can see. MXTX: Here, have a couple of gold nuggets and feel warm and loved! Me: *floating on a little cloud of goodness* 110 1
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Same, but oh the pain! I have a whole list of absolute gems that I revisit every now and then in the hope that somehow, my subscription glitched and they have in fact been updated. It drives me crazy not to know what happened next... 010 1
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 29/07/2026When life imitates modern #Wangxian AU. Surely there was no need for all that red colour, Lan Corp? 021 2
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 21/07/2026Anything Wangxian by this author is top notch stuff! (I am not into RPF so can't vouch for those fics) 011 1
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 23/06/2026Happy birthday! Discovering your kinder, hornier worlds was a true revelation. FAGTC was my first Wangxian modern AU and my first smut 🙈. Hundreds of fics later, I keep coming back to yours. I learned so much from you, and you brought me so much joy! Hope you have a lovely day! 💃💕 020 2
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 17/06/2026Yes!!! Yes!!! Now we need the Twin Jades of Rivendell and the Tale of Aragorn summoning the dead to do his bidding in battle. The MDZS/LOTR crossover we were all dying to see! 0154 15
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 05/06/2026Yessss! I saw this one and thought, this is begging to be wangxianified! 110 1
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 30/05/2026Absolutely! I am not a huge fan of audiobooks but podfics were a revelation! Long drives, housework, tired eyes, solo walks with Wangxian serotonin in my ears! 020 2
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 20/05/2026Happy birthday to you and your super-stealthy twin(k)! 😎 110 1
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 18/05/2026Just finished it. Wow, what a read! I haven't felt this way since When the Sun Goes Down, and that one is literally my favourite Wangxian fic. It's extraordinary. Now for Raitala's podfic to savour it even more! 120 2
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 11/05/2026Oooh, I love that one so much! WWX was so eager to help, bless his little ghostly socks! Was going to do all that research in the library! 🤣🤣🤣 010 1
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 02/05/2026If your first introduction to #mdzs was The Untamed, did you guess about the golden core as it was happening, before the reveal? I felt it was signposted way too clearly in the drama but I'd read the book and watched the donghua first so I already knew. 010 1

Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 07/04/2026My number one of thousands. I love the language and the worldbuilding, I live for plots where LWJ doesn't recognise MXY!WWX immediately, the ratio of canon to original creation is just right. I can quote parts of it, I've read and listened so many times. 110 1
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 03/04/2026And there's more! I have just inhaled @trippednfell.bsky.social 's "An Unscheduled Stream", which is hands down one of the best modern cultivation fics I've ever read and going straight to the top of my favourites. Like so many fantastic BDSM fics, it's about angst, and feelings, and care, and found family. Loved every word and will reread on hard rotation!archiveofourown.org 111 1

Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 01/04/2026Also if you like anything by @athena-crikey.bsky.social like I do, you will feel blessed as they have written several excellent fics lately. It's a Wangxian feast and I can't get enough! 110 1
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 01/04/2026archiveofourown.org/works/63343438 It's the kind of WIP that's worth following as it unfolds and then revisiting and then listening to @auntyiroh.bsky.social 's wonderfully empathetic coldread.archiveofourown.org 040 4
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 01/04/2026Meanwhile, @raitalarai.bsky.social is continuing with their truly epic "The Good Rain Knows its Season", which has fun, and adventures, and profound sadness, and the most insightful commentary on #mdzs canon that could be published in The Oxford Guide to MXTX any time! 130 3

There has been a total bumper crop of new and wonderful #wangxian #mdzs fics lately, thanks in part to Gotcha Against ICE (kudos to @fereael.bsky.social!). Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 23/03/2026No one expects a stealthy NHS! Iove this story and will read all the chapters it will have! LWJ and his horny thoughts at the stage where WWX is barely able to figure out where he is and why he is alive are what we live for 😂 010 1
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 19/03/2026Just finished reading this and must shout from the rooftops! An incredible fic, reimagining Wangxian's canon miscommunication in a delightful exes to lovers scenario. I was so hooked I hid in the toilet at work to keep reading! An instant favourite. 142 4
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 09/03/2026The silver lining of the censorship in the donghua is that it can be shown to teenagers (if they are OK with zombies) or people who are not interested in the romantic line. The fantasy/thriller aspects of mdzs are top notch and need more attention. 100 1
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 09/03/2026Hope you feel better soon! We will search AO3 tirelessly for good food to share when you feel better. 110 1

Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 08/03/2026@fereael.bsky.social: you asked for classic Wangxian fic recs in the other place (X). I don't have a fandom acct there, so here is my list. I tried to trim it down but it didn't want to. 🙈This is not the same as my faves list but there is of course some overlap. 😅 1114 11
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 27/02/2026Haha so valid, I had many squirmy moments trying to explain the name of that new fandom I was into. No, not joining a cult, no, not worshiping any demons, thank you! No, not about chess either. 110 1

Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 15/02/2026Thank you! I'll try to think too. We need more of them, that's for sure! I loved the image of young LWJ still grappling with his feelings and realising both that he cd have wwx and is about to lose him... 110 1
Maxia @maxia24.bsky.social · 15/02/2026Loved this new fic by KizuKatana! Now I have a question for #wangxian loremasters. Can anyone rec any fics where LWJ is spurred into action bc he is in danger of losing WWX? There are amazing ones where reverse is true. They wd have to be aus bc of canon comphet. @fereael.bsky.social, help! 150 5
