silliest and possibly best cosmetic upgrade ever added to a game just dropped: squash/stretch for the pixels of any character. the editor still needs some tweaking but the results are already extremely pleasing imo. tag yourself I'm no thoughts giant head empty #gamedev

Ignoring it and not giving it far too much extra exposure is a valid strategy. The bros need outrage and clicks to be part of its narrative of it being everywhere. Jumping on every bloody post like it’s the end times helps the tech not you or artists. Engage with the real art not the fake crap.

Reworking how we describe <an important type of cutscene> to try to avoid re-re-redoing them all again and oof.... This is what finishing a game looks like but until its done it definitely feels like chasing your tail until the structure gels properly haha.

Fixed a goddamn divide by zero today - feels good but also really stupid. Chanced into reproducing the issue causing them on the old iGPU in my desktop - it got accidentally "stuck on" for unrelated reasons today. Anyway here's a Liz minus "stuck" black pixels.
