I am old enough to remember Richard Nixon. What he did was criminal, but basically more stupid than anything. He didn't hurt American citizens. He was just paranoid. Compare to Trumpy who has cost everyone so much, it's not even a fair comparison. Trumpy makes billions while all of us suffer.

Remember that it isn't your job to fix peoples opinions. Changing someones' mind on a topic, particularly controversial ones, is often a challenging and long-term task. It's only ever worth it if they're your friend or close family member, otherwise you have no reason to care what they think.
