USB 1.0 over UART, held together by "well, it _technically_ holds" electric tape. :neocat_floof_explode: this is so cursed lmao

USB 2 cable torn apart with its wires attached to gpio/breadboard jump wires by electric tape

@lunya@sk.lunya.pet feel free to use as an instance icon! i do, it looks funny some places tho. Attached tgz has the actual svg files in it, since sharkey wants to convert to png or webp before uploading.

"Misskoma" icon on akkoma topbar as instance icon, slightly overflowing the topbar background.

ok apostrophe it is snapping nautilus to the side of it also works but can't be dragged with it, not sure if i want it to take up a whole workspace for that tho. a file tree sidebar _cannot_ be that hard to patch in if i really want to

finally made a color theme that looks alright :neocat_laptop_owo: name suggestions?

A low resolution picture with 8 blocks in it, 4x2.
Top row is light to dark (dark theme)
Bottom row is dark to light (light theme)
Inside of each box, theres a smaller box (buttons) with lines inside of them (text)
It's made to showcase where colors fit in the UI, but is a bit too abstract without being explained. Actual themes coming soon that'll be better examples.

A color pallette with terminal colors, rainbow colors, pink, slate, seafoam green, and a mid shade of blue.

GhosTTY showing Fastfetch with this theme. Looks kinda similar to solarized dark.

Amazon review

Pain in the @#$! fix but working perfectly.

If you are not experienced with electronics repair, or at least the disassembly and reassembly portion - DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS REPAIR.
I am a 20+ year IT and Electronics technician and was challenged by this one.
It requires a heat gun to remove the old screen...
It requires double sided electronics adhesive tape (about 1/8" wide)...
It requires a tri-wing bit as well as a micro-Phillips bit...
It requires tech tweezers for removing and replacing very tiny connectors and ribbon cables that are extremely small and thin...
Highly recommend an ESD safe work space...

There are several videos on YouTube for fixing this, but be warned - this is not a beginner fix.

I would buy again to fix one for a client but I am not looking forward to the work.

theres a sign on it that says "Domain"

the other is a house (square with triangle) with "Homepage" written in it
Theres a sign on it saying "Domain"

my desk setup
2 monitors, wall mounted, main one has a high contrast terminal text editor open to ubuntus build-efi-images script, the second is a mirror of the main but upside down
there's a Thinkpad t430 with the arch wiki open below those
there's also vines in the background, white LEDs everywhere, and my face in the mirror
