The test was so intense that, after the first day, the proctor apologized to me that I had to sit next to someone who was vomiting the whole time. I had absolutely no idea anyone was vomiting. I was too locked in to notice anything around me but the test.

Taking the bar exam was one of the hardest experiences in my education. It required a ton of work & legal understanding. Passing felt like a big deal. Someone who failed it & still presents herself as a lawyer is not fit to be Press Secretary. It shows a complete lack of ethics, honesty, & merit.

I miss reading to my kids before bed each night. This was truly one of my favorite parts of my whole life. I was lucky my children were far enough apart in age and let me read to them until they were quite old. So I got to do it for many many years. What a gift to read to children.

Oh I'm so sorry about the hip replacement! I know a couple people for whom it was absolutely life changing in a great way and not too terrible a recovery. So I will be hoping for that outcome for you too! Best of luck with it!

Oof that sounds awful. I'm so sorry. I hope you are able to get it under control. I've ruptured a disc in my neck and the only thing that helped was consistent PT and core exercises and just the passing of time. I hope you find a path to less pain.

Thank you and so sorry you have chronic stuff too. Sending hugs right back! I've managed 3 different diseases for most of my adult life along with chronic migraine & sinusitis, immune issues, and 2 ACL repairs. It's a lot! But at least nothing has killed me. 😂

I was starting to get my sinus infection under control yesterday. Felt the best I’d felt in weeks. Then last night, I developed my typical signs of vestibular migraine & have been in migraine land ever since. Another lost day. 😩

I love how writing a poetry collection allows you to play a lot more than writing individual poems does. You can add little shorties and long connective tissue and poems that could never stand in a field alone.

Glad yours was clean! In NYC, my place books up 5-6 months in advance so you really have to be on top of it! But they do send you a reminder to schedule. And if there’s an emergency or issue, they get folks in right away.

Very happy to have a clean mammogram & ultrasound this weekend. I have done mine on weekends the last couple of years, & it is way calmer & faster experience at my imaging center on a Saturday. Highly recommend. Are you due to schedule yours?
