In coming years, the gap between the rich and the poor will increase, causing middle class and poor to fall deeper into debt and poverty. Ths solution is UBI and unconditional cash transfers to create a safety net that will prevent us from cascading deeper into crime, poor health, and social unrest

most people are living pay cheque to pay cheque under the constant fear of survival, and a single setback can mean ruin. This is counterproductive. We need UBI to free people, enabling them to take risks, pursue education, start businesses, and invest in their communities.

A lot of time, energy and potential is wasted on the struggle to survive rather than on creativity, entrepreneurship, and individual well-being. Achieving true economic and social progress starts by providing basic livelihoods to everyone through UBI and unconditional cash transfers.

Apart from fighting poverty and inequality, unconditional cash transfers provide agency and dignity. Everyone deserves the right to choose when it comes to basics. How do we expect to have abundance for everyone when there is no fair distribution of resources? Achieving it will require freeing up millions from struggling to survive to struggling to solve problems like poverty, inequality, and climate change. It requires unconditional cash transfers and UBI.

All over the world we are facing poverty, increasing inequality, and a climate crisis that cannot be solved by looking left, right, or clinging to outdated economic models. It's time to stop circling old ideas and start moving forward to new ground-up solutions. It's time for UBI.

any harm to the individual ultimately harms the collective. We cannot expect meaningful progress in a society where millions are homeless, jobless, and hopeless. Economic and social advancement requires access to basic resources needed to survive and build. It requires UBI

''UBI will create dependency and enslavement.'' No — bullshit jobs already trap millions in meaningless routines just to survive. UBI is the opposite; it creates a stable financial foundation, restoring freedom, dignity and opportunities for everyone, not just the lucky few.

Poverty is not a lack of willpower; it is a lack of resources and opportunities created by a system that erects barriers to benefit a few. Through UBI, we break them down, enabling millions of marginalised individuals and communities to improve their wellbeing and the economy.

It's inevitable whole industries and jobs will be shaken up as a result of tech. It's a good thing and an opportunity since it will free up people to pursue more meaningful, creative and impactful work to further enrich our lives. But they don't have to do it hungry and homeless. They will need UBI.

Cash transfers can outperform more complex economic aid programmes
Benchmarking multi-dimensional in-kind programmes against cost-equivalent unconditional cash transfers reveals that cash can be more effective in improving consumption and asset accumulation.

I think you should try trusting people. Let's say a friend wants to make you dinner. Do you think your friend should insist that you do something in exchange? Or do you think your friend should trust that you would want to do something for them in the future, and not necessarily only as payback?
