Sunset in the #Chilterns, and what looks to be an almost complete HS2 tunnel at Wendover: just one prefabricated concrete segment to go. This is one of five ‘green tunnels’ between London and the West Midlands: cut-and-cover tunnels with the surface to be planted on completion.

As festive traditions go, the issue of a pre-Christmas NPPF probably isn’t the *most* anticipated, but it does appear to be a thing, now. Following July’s consultation, the revised NPPF was issued yesterday (bit.ly/3BsYXEu), and replaces last December’s version. [1 of 4]
