Hey, Michael Cimino, Brandon Perea. I have an imaginary car that's broken. Can you fine men fix it?

Last night's first-time watch: THE PAPERBOY (2012) An enjoyable-enough slice of sleazy Southern pulp. But *that* early scene with Nicole Kidman and John Cusack will hardly leave my mind for a while.

My unpopular pick to play Rogue in the new X-Men series would be Delainey Hayles. Anyone who's seen INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE knows she can do a Southern accent and play the headstrong lone ranger that Rogue is with ease. (I like Cailee Spaeny, but she's more Kitty than Rogue IMO)

Since we're likely getting SPIDER-MAN 5 after BND's big opening and it's a time for fun speculation, I'll throw in a bit of fancasting should the character the MCU treatment. Havana Rose Liu for Felicia Hardy/Black Cat

Finally got to see LEVITICUS and it floored me. Frightening as it is moving, I was left chilled while also on the verge of tears by the time it ended. My favorite horror film of 2026 so far.

Obviously, I'm taken by Sam Reid as sexy rockstar Lestat in THE VAMPIRE LESTAT, but also digging bearded Noah Reid in shaggy hair.

As a massive BUFFY fan, I'll admit that Marc Blucas might not be a main reason I'm easier on S4 than others, but given how I watched S4 at a formative time, it mayyy be one reason.

Besides continuing to invest in original filmmaking voices, one other takeaway from BACKROOMS overperforming should be: More films with Finn Bennett showing waist.
