I've been using Jev to add a filter to articles in my feed reader. So far, it seems to work pretty well. And yes it's very fast and inexpensive.

The price gap here is staggering. I used 1/5 as much MiniMax M3 tokens, it was 1/58 the cost.

Apparently this was announced a few weeks ago, but still...look at this thing. It's a MATX version of the Silverstone FLP02 retro case (called the FLP03). I think I actually prefer it because it doesn't have the faux floppy drive bay, which seems a bit gaudy to me. #retropc #pcgaming

WRONG, Oregonian. Overhauling the street would be better for everyone. Including pedestrians (oh, won't somebody remember the pedestrians!)... Also just stand on a random corner of 82nd and ask yourself if things are rad right now. The status quo ain't working. #pdx #portlandor

yep! mine has only 2MB of RAM and a finicky RAM slot (or possibly I am having trouble finding the right RAM?) ... so it can't run Doom too well alas.

Made some updates to my #ttrpg combat tracker. Added a new note system to make it easier to see, and save multiple notes. Updated the dice roller so that it can collapse and is easier to identify.

Updated my TTRPG combat tracker today to fix a bug that was causing the pop-up with dice roll results to not appear in some circumstances. Also added an (experimental) feature to export/import combat to .json so GMs can set up a combat ahead of time for later use. ttrpg-tools.online #dnd #ttrpg

Updated my TTRPG combat tracking tool. New feature: attack rolls! You can now set up attacks and roll them vs. target AC, with option to account for DR. This can handle single attacks, or multiples. You can watch the dice roll or use "Fast roll" to have it all handled for you. #ttrpg #dnd

Based on this photo what is the refresh rate of this monitor? Just kidding ;) I'll tell you. This baby is 500Hz! Should have a review up on PC World later this week or early next.

Oregon democrats what the hell are you doing. You literally have a supermajority. If you let this bill get through as it stands Friday night, you may as well sail into the sunset. You’re toast. #oregon #odot www.oregonlive.com/politics/202...

When Baldur's Gate was released it was praised not only for its gameplay but also its graphics. 3D would soon become all anyone could talk about, but at that time for large-scale RPGs, isometric 2D was still amazing! And I think Baldur's Gate still looks amazing today... #retrogaming #pcgaming

A letter to the editor in the February 1999 issue of PC Zone magazine complains about a "monster" patch weighing in at *gasp* 20MB! How could the developers think this is acceptable! Times have changed...

In 1999, $7300 could buy you this IBM with *gasp* a decent flat screen LCD display! I can’t image being too happy with it coming from a CRT…but this was a cutting consumer LCD for the time. #retrocomputing

Went to Flip Flop games in Portland Oregon for the first time today. Great store! Great PC games selection too. I picked up a couple less expensive games that will work on my IBM PS/1 Essential.

My wife did good this year and found a big box copy of Total Annihilation in very good shape. I love this cover. The mid 90s CGI, the gold foil, the deep blues and greens...just perfect. #retrogaming #pcgaming #retropc #rts

First fully working version of my TTRPG initiative tracker up and running. I wanted a tracker that could handle status effects and save/load combats for later or for setup, and which was also mostly system-agnostic (should work for any linear initiative TTRPG system).

It's funny but not surprising how World of Warcraft Classic is trodding the same as EverQuest when it comes to classic-style servers. You've got some servers with little or no changes, some that are quite a bit different, and there's a constant stream of new stuff.

haha! it's alive! If you're wondering: It's a 1993 IBM PS/1 Essential. It was in good condition when I got it at a yard sale earlier this year but had a bad hard drive (which also meant it was lacking the original software) and no sound card.
