Similarly to last season, there's a pretty legitimate top six in 2026 fantasy drafts, followed by a slight tier break before other strong names. Need proof? In my article breaking down who to select first overall, I listed six players. That means that, realistically, the best pick here at the 1.06 is whoever’s left of that group.

The first overall pick is, without a doubt, the most unique and intriguing spot in drafts. On the one hand, there’s almost always a chalk pick (or two), and everyone will expect you to make it. On the other hand, at 1.01, you have complete freedom to decide who you believe will be fantasy's most valuable player in 2026, and to snag that player with impunity. If you believe the guy going sixth in ADP is going to score the most points at a critical position, there's no law preventing you from "reaching" to pick him at the top.

On the one hand, it feels like everybody that plays fantasy football knows who Jared Goff is: he's the always good, never quite elite, fringe QB1 who no one's frantic to draft but rarely disappoints. Right? Well, on the other hand, no. He's been a top-10 fantasy quarterback for four straight seasons and has logged the fifth-most games with 20+ fantasy points over that span. And yet, once again, he's the QB16 in 4for4's multi-side ADP.

Jaylen Waddle was a bit of an enigma for fantasy football across his rookie contract in Miami. He started out by breaking the rookie receptions record (104 in 2021) and followed that up with a WR13 overall finish in 2022. In fact, only nine wideouts in the history of the game scored more half-PPR fantasy points in their first two seasons than Waddle — including names like Randy Moss, Justin Jefferson, and Odell Beckham Jr. Since then, hampered by the inconsistency and decline of Tua Tagovailoa, Waddle finished as the WR34, WR46, and WR23 the last three seasons.

In this fourth and final installment of the touchdown trends series here at 4for4, we'll be taking a look at the quarterback position. In nearly every circumstance, touchdowns are the most volatile statistic to track. But, as we all know, they’re also the most crucial. In typical scoring, a quarterback can drive the entirety of the field, completing 10 passes for 98 yards along the way, and a single shovel pass for a touchdown from the goal line counts for more points than the prior 10 completions combined.

For the last couple of years, I've used this outlier touchdowns column to spotlight fantasy players due for regression — positive or negative — in the upcoming season. Last year's wide receiver edition, covering three risers and three fallers, ended up being a mathematical prophecy. Puka Nacua, George Pickens, and Jaylen Waddle didn't just outscore their 2024 touchdown totals ... they outscored them by a combined 17 touchdowns. On the flip side, while Amon-Ra St. Brown only dropped by a single touchdown, he, Terry McLaurin, and Brian Thomas Jr. did all regress ...

It's never a bad time to make a move in your dynasty league. Matt Okada checks in with some ideas for good moves now.

Finding sleepers in dynasty fantasy football is not easy. Most managers in most leagues are paying attention, just about every relevant name is already rostered, and you're digging for diamonds with a typically low hit rate. But.
