I had a cousin, Kerosena, when I was younger who never made it out of childhood. She stood too near an open flame one Easter at my grandmother's house and was gone in an instant. Her own mother, Aunt Transpirianna, always complained that Kerosena gave her "the vapors."

Anybody else have this happen? My nostrils are itchy. Yes, my nose hairs grow faster now that I'm middle aged, but I trim them with a Remington tool, and yet, the itch CONTINUES. The only recourse is scratching those itches but I swear to you, cubicle neighbors, I'm not picking my nose!

He asked why I did that, and I said "if some dude on the El pulled down his pants and said look at my bullet hole, how would YOU react?

I can count on one finger the times I was actually given IEPs for my students that had them in the 12 years I was teaching. I was always told "just teach how you'd normally teach, it'll all come out in the wash" or some other bullshit adage. Take em down, honey badger.
