@timharford.ft.com I've just listened to your ONS productivity puzzle episode of more or less. Man alive. It's hard to avoid sounding snobbish here but... Wouldn't basic economics tell you that if you move the ONS to Newport you are drawing from a much shallower and less educated labour pool?
