Getting annoyed, I want to play Ace Combat 8, but all I’ve managed to do is get the title screen, and the rest of my 88 minute playtime has been loading screens and shader compilation screen, no gameplay at all

It’s kinda hard to believe in the whole “AI bubble is gonna burst” when governments are announcing that they’re introducing AI studies into the school curriculum. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Schools to offer technical subjects to pupils from age 14, Burnham says

The government wants pupils to take courses like AI and manufacturing which are linked to local jobs.

As I prep for my trip to Edinburgh this weekend mainly to watch @criticalrole.bsky.social at Edinburgh castle, I’m struck by the amusement that we used to have events with people playing D&D in a castle, and now I’m going to an event where people watching people playing D&D in a castle.

I spent Sunday creating a Theatre in World of Warcraft. I was supposed to be only spending a couple of hours on it, next thing I know it was 1am and I had a fully formed Theatre on my screen... Anyway. Here's a theatre, Azeroth-style. #WorldofWarcraft #wowhousing #housing #midnight

A theatrical stage as looked at from the upper seats. Two statues stand either side of the stage, there are stage lights hanging from the ceiling shining onto the stage, and an orchestra pit at the front of the stage with stage stairs either side.

A theatrical stage made in World of Warcraft as seen from the right hand side of the auditorium, with a statue standing to the side of the stage and empty seats facing forward.

A series of fancy red-coloured seats all lined up in a theatrical auditorium in World of Warcraft, with rear seats elevated via raised platforms.

A theatrical Orchestra pit, with two harps, 4 lyres and a series of drums. At the center there is a platform for the musical conductor to stand.

So looking at the upcoming Devourer spec for Demon Hunters, you’re intellect based and considered a caster, cast spell abilities at mid range, and then from time to time you dash in and do a few melee strikes before dashing out into spell casting again. So basically a Devourer is a FFXIV Red Mage.
