The only AI regulation we need is if an AI hacks into something, the CEO of that AI company goes to prison. The hacks, and the doombragging, will stop. This is already what will happen if a non-billionaire uses AI to hack a corporate site.

I’m completely blown away by the quality of code created by the new Qwen3.8:27b model running on my DGX Spark. It’s not as fast as frontier models, but it’s free (aside from the cost of the hardware) and almost as good.

Then there was something like "ditch recovery" where you learn to get back on the road after two wheels go off the road into a ditch and you had to get back on the road without hitting brakes, slowing down, or swerving out of your lane. Fun stuff.

Another skill was avoiding a simulated sudden obstacle. We'd drive at increasing speeds at a wall of cones and then have to swerve around it at the last second (when instructor says "NOW"), keeping to a predetermined path.

They have this big surface lot made of a substance that is 10x slicker than ice when wet. You started in one corner and drove a parabolic path through it. At the apex of the curve, the instructor would lock up the brakes and you had to maintain control. Many people got sick from the spinning.
