Progress on any project is progress. 99% sure this will be ready to publish next month.

Working cover for a workbook or sorts I'm putting out about tracking what makes the cafes you go to good or bad. It's called "Filtered Out" and the subtitle is "how to tell if a cafe is worth your time". I'm not overly happy with the cover, but it's good enough for now.

Found the Typepad version of my site on the Wayback Machine. Has an overview of the work I was doing at the time including a list of projects. It also has a great usability joke: Q: How many usability engineers does it take to change a light bulb? A: How many would you expect?

A change management application for categorizing and tracking enterprise changes (roughly 100 users).
A suite of six Web applications for reviewing, categorizing, and managing enterprise meta-data (roughly 1000 users).
A Web application for four 24x7 call centers to allow users to identify policy and billing information, as well as provide information to callers (roughly 1000 users).
A Web application to allow users to scan paper insurance documents and send them electronically with the electronic (Legacy system) insurance application (roughly 34,000 users).
A Web application for four 24x7 call centers to access a knowledge base to allow the users to locate and read the legally required word tracks to callers (roughly 800 users).

Having spent 50% my life in Alaska AND having lived in Oregon for another 30% of my life AND only visited California a few times, I'd call my accent West Coast Ambient.

Screenshot of my results based on the 148-question version of the dialect survey. It shows a heat map (ish) of the US where the "most like you" spots are definitely West Coast, though it puts me in California.

Sometimes I wish I could draw. Then the random things I find in my drafts folder might look better than this. But shipped is better than not shipped. Or so I hear.
